This is a really rad video documenting bike polo in the year 2009. It was such a monumental year for the sport; first North American, European and Australian Championships, and the first World Championships. Just in the one year polo has gone a long way from being just a came, to being a legitimate sport. I can’t wait to see what 2010 has in store.

There is a quote floating around somewhere that says something along the lines of “at this stage of the sport, any person has the potential to be the best in the world”. You better believe it!

Defgrip Presents the BMX shorts at the 2010 Bicycle Film Festival

Defgrip has just been announced to be presenting the BMX portion of films at this years Bicycle Film Festival!

They will finding, choosing and curation the BMX short films so you know its going to be good. Its a great idea to be getting a BMX crew to in on it, and its sure to produce a good selection of films.

We’ve been having some big turn outs at polo the last few weeks.

We are going to be playing polo tomorrow night, from 6.30 or so at the Technology Park court, with the potential for it to become a weekly thing!

Bridging the Gap Vol.1

Tom over at Hell On Wheels gave me the heads up on this one.

Its really fucking rad. The name “Bridging the Gap” is very fitting.
Its a great mix of riding of both fixed and bmx. It seems like there is a lot of bad blood between different styles of riding, for no particular reason.

Different bikes do different things well, but its also about the person riding it and their motivations, and what they enjoy.

New Gear From Skin Grows Back

The Skin Grows Back website has had a bit of a revamp. Its now more colourful than ever, and there are a bunch of new products that Jamie has had out on the streets being tested, that are now available for sale through the site!

List them off: Courier backpack, mini hip pack, radio holder, bungee cords and loops, extension straps, sew on badges, key loops and new wallets!
